Dermoscopy is a growing worldwide bedside diagnostic technique in skin examination
Dermoscopy course is important to teach all practitioners who have contact with skin disease about Dermoscopy features of these diseases.
Given that the Dermoscopy is a portable and easy-to-use device, it will decrease the time of clinic visits, the number of patients visits, referrals, and the number of skin biopsies.
This course aim is for dermatologists and family doctors, to master the features of common and differentiate between benign and malignant skin lesions.

from President of the Conference
Dear colleagues,
It is my great honor to invite you to the second dermoscopy course, which will take place virtually from 6 to 7 December 2021.
This year you will have a virtual meeting for two days, which will provide you with basic and advanced important knowledge about dermoscopy.
In this year’s version, we work to meet all audience requirements from very basic skills like; how to use a dermoscope to a very advanced stage of differentiating between common benign and malignant skin lesions and conditions.
We work to reach our main aim of these courses to make dermoscopy a basic part of our daily practice.

Objectives
- Master the feature of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer
- diagnose common papulosquamous and pigmented lesions by dermoscopy
- Able to diagnose common hair and nail diseases
- Train participant how to describe the dermoscopic features
- Able to decide when to use immersion fluid and/or polarized light
- Challenging dermoscopy cases
Why dermoscopy?
1- The typical application of dermatoscopy is early detection of melanoma
2- allows distinguishing benign from malignant tumors
3- determine the surgical margin for skin cancers that are difficult to define
4- Decrease the number of patients’ dermatology clinic visit
5- Decrease the need for skin biopsy
6- Allow accurate examination of all skin lesion
7- Meta-analysis of the literature has demonstrated the superiority and usefulness of dermoscopy
8- Decrease the referral to specialized dermatology clinic from primary health care facilities as primary care physicians screen for skin cancer through visual inspection, which is not highly sensitive.
